A new premium sports channel has been added to the sports portfolio of the Econet Media. Named Kwesé Sports 1 (KS1), the sports channel will be available on Kwesé and can be viewed on the Kwesé app. More than 90 live sports events will be offered during the launching month.
Joseph Hundah, the Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Econet Media, said: “By making the best in sports available to more African sports fans, Kwesé is becoming Africa’s destination for premium sports content”.

With numerous channel partners (NBA TV, EFC, esports channel), Kwesé’s sports channel will serve its audience copiously with sports content. This month will see the channel airing live and unique events which includes the NBA, the cricket tour between Australia and Pakistan, English Rugby and Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC). KS1 is accessible on the Kwesé App which is available on iOS an Android.
